Reminder: Greenwood Seafair Parade is Wednesday night

by | Jul 24, 2018

Just a reminder that the 69th annual Greenwood Seafair Parade will bring 100+ floats, bands, drill teams and more to downtown Greenwood on Wednesday, July 25.

This official Seafair event travels down Greenwood Avenue from North 95th Street to North 85th Street, then heads west to 6th Avenue NW. It begins at 6 p.m. and usually ends around 8 p.m. That area and some surrounding streets will be closed to traffic and parking throughout the neighborhood will be unusually tight, so plan accordingly.

The Seattle All-City Marching Band.

This year’s theme is “In Our Own Backyard” and honors three active community volunteers as the Grand Marshals: Linda Hedlund, Michael Cook, and the Phinney Neighborhood Association’s long-time staff member Ruthie MacDonald.
