Celine Patisserie opens at Greenwood and 68th, serving traditional Viennese pastries

by | Jun 27, 2017

Celine Patisserie just opened at 6801 Greenwood Ave. N., in the spot formerly occupied by Picnic.

Alexei and Daniela Bucos opened Celine as a traditional viennoiserie (a type of pastry), preparing everything on site, and offering everything from ham and cheese croissants to smoked salmon sandwiches, monkey bread, tiramisu, macarons, mousse cake, raw and vegan cakes, and Italian coffee.

The couple is originally from Moldova, but also lived in Italy for many years.

Celine is open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday. It is currently closed on Sunday but that could change.

The bakery doesn’t have a website or Facebook page yet, but Alexei tells me those should be up and running in the next day or two.
