City Councilmember Mike O’Brien will attend Tuesday’s Phinney Ridge Community Council meeting to discuss any topic of concern to neighborhood residents. The meeting is at 7 p.m. at the Phinney Neighborhood Center, 6532 Phinney Ave. N.

Discussion topics currently on the list include:

  • How HALA (Housing Affordability Livability Agenda) with its proposed building height increases and no parking required, will impact neighborhoods and housing affordability for all
  • Property ownership requirements for backyard cottages
  • Neighborhood crime
  • Business and employment
  • Community Spaces
  • Residential parking zones
  • Increasing mass transportation options

Also at the meeting, PRCC board members will provide a summary of its neighborhood input session with Woodland Park Zoo.
