Taproot Theatre presents the Dorothy L. Sayers murder mystery “Busman’s Honeymoon” from May 17 through June 24 on the Jewell Mainstage. It is recommended for ages 12 and up.
Newlyweds Lord Peter Wimsey and Harriet Vane discover a body in the basement of their country honeymoon hideaway – murder or accident? Alibi or lie? While the supporting cast of characters complicate this confusing case, Peter and Harriet must decide if the pursuit of truth outweighs the pursuit of happiness.
Post-play discussions with Taproot staff and cast members are held after every Wednesday performance (excluding preview on May 17) and after the midweek matinee performances on May 23 at 2 p.m. and May 31 at 10 a.m.
Pay-What-You-Can performance is at 7:30 p.m. May 24. A limited number of $10 tickets are available in person or by phone at 12 p.m. that day; beginning at 5 p.m., tickets are name-your-own-price, in person only. Limit four tickets per person.
