HomeStreet Bank in Phinney Ridge robbed for second time in less than a week

by | Mar 11, 2017

HomeStreet Bank on the corner of Greenwood Avenue North and North 73rd Street was robbed this afternoon for the second time in less than a week.

A PhinneyWood reader, Christy, alerted us to the robbery, saying she saw at least six Seattle Police cars at the bank around 2 p.m., which is closing time on Saturday. She said more police cars were driving slowly around the neighborhood, east of Greenwood Avenue.

When reached by phone, Branch Manager Dustin Foss confirmed there was a robbery, but could provide no further details.

Thanks to Christy for the tip and James for the photo.
