Couth Buzzard hosting Community Unity Concert and Gathering on Jan. 19

Couth Buzzard Books, 8310 Greenwood Ave. N., is hosting a Community Unity Concert and Gathering from 7:30-10 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, the night before the Presidential Inauguration.

Community matters. Everything in America changed on November 8th, 2016. And now, some things gotta be said. Please join our gathering of Musicians, poets, storytellers, political activist and labor leaders for an evening of coming together in unity. Featured Performers include: Singer/songwriters Gary Kanter and Jim Page, poet-singer Sara Depp with percussionist Kenneth Mandell, Seattle ex-City Councilmember, author (Becoming A Citizen Activist) and activist Nick Licata , comedian-storyteller Jeffrey Robert, Dale Bright, President of the M.L. King Labor Council and Couth Buzzard’s owner Theo Dzielak. This is going to be a political night with heartfelt expressions of both concern, community, and resistance. All are welcome.
