by | Oct 10, 2016

The King County Department of Community & Human Services is hosting a series of public conversations about veteran and human services throughout King County, to get input on each community’s strengths and needs as it plans for the possible renewal of the Veterans and Human Services Levy, which expires at the end of 2017.

The next meeting is from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Greenwood Senior Center, 525 N. 85th St., and is open to anyone. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Special guest will be King County 4th District Councilmember Jeanne Kohl-Welles.

After department staff provides background information on the levy and services, participants will break into teams of five to eight people to discuss various issues.

Please RSVP online.
