The city’s Department of Construction and Inspections is accepting comments on the environmental impact of a self-storage facility that will replace Gold’s Gym at 9701 Aurora Ave. N. The current building will be demolished.

The six-story building will be about 245,200 square feet, with self-storage units of various sizes, a retail/office space and a caretaker’s apartment. Surface parking will be provided for 21 vehicles.

The city already held two Design Review meetings on the project, last September and in January.

Comments may be submitted online through Aug. 10.
