Spoke & Food fundraiser July 26 to raise money for Hunger Intervention Program

by | Jul 18, 2016

The 7th annual Spoke & Food fundraiser is from 5-9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, at 19 restaurants throughout the city, including three in our neighborhood. Just bike to one of the locations and they will donate 20 percent of your bill to the Hunger Intervention Program.

In our neighborhood, participating locations are the Barking Dog Alehouse, 705 NW 70th St.; Razzi’s Pizzeria, 8523 Greenwood Ave. N.; and Nutty Squirrel Gelato, 7212 Greenwood Ave. N. The first 20 cycling patrons at each location will get a Spike & Food drawstring backpack with goodies inside.

The Hunger Intervention Program provides meals, basic cooking skills and nutrition education to needy families.

See the Spoke & Food website for a list of all participating locations.
