Safe & Healthy Communities forum with Councilmember Mike O’Brien July 27

Seattle City Councilmember Mike O’Brien is hosting a District 6 public forum on Safe & Healthy Communities from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 5710 22nd Ave. NW.

Full agenda includes introduction by Councilmember Mike O’Brien. Following the event introduction, informative speakers series includes Alison Eisinger, Executive Director of Seattle King County Coalition on Homelessness, Lisa Daugaard, Director of the Public Defender Associaiton, and a representative from the Seattle Police Department. The largest portion of the event will occur after and will be small group sessions where participants can engage with one another and expert facilitators for productive conversations on the issues and responding to some of the speakers’ points. Groups will have the opportunity to provide report backs and Councilmember O’Brien will provide closing remarks.
