New proposal for development at 8820 Aurora Avenue increases residential, lowers parking

by | Feb 22, 2016

The residential, office and warehouse development proposed for the vacant lot at 8820 Aurora Ave. N. has changed somewhat since the first Early Design Guidance meeting last October.
Back then, the proposal was for a four-story building with about 10,000 square feet of warehouse and office space, plus 24 small efficiency dwelling units and parking for 10 vehicles. The new proposal is for a five-story building with 4,524 square feet of warehouse space, 5,246 square feet of office space, and 27 residential units, with parking for just three vehicles.
Design and environmental reviews are still required for the project. Comments can be submitted online through March 6. Reference project 3020795.
