Seattle Department of Transportation has finished the first phase of its Greenwood Avenue North Transit and Sidewalk Project and has moved into Phase 2.
During Phase 1, crews built new sidewalks and curb ramps that are ADA accessible along the east side of Greenwood Avenue North between North 92nd Street and North 97th Street, and between North 104th Street and North 105th Street.
Crews will now work from south to north along the corridor installing new sidewalks, planting strips, and curb ramps on the east side of Greenwood Avenue between North 97th Street and North 104th Street. After that, crews will install new bus islands, shelters, lighting and other improvements between North 90th Street and North 103rd Street. The project is expected to be finished in April.
