Gumshoe detective walk, theater, farmers market and Summer Streets in Greenwood-Phinney Ridge this weekend

The 10th annual Gumshoe 5K detective walk continues through this weekend, raising money for the Greenwood Senior Center, Greenwood Food Bank and Greenwood Elementary School PTA. Pick up your $20 entry form at Ken’s Market, Phinney Ridge Starbucks, Phinney Center or Couth Buzzard Books, then follow the clues for a fun walk through the neighborhood for a good cause. Turn in your entry form by 6 p.m. Sunday for a chance to win prizes.

Taproot Theatre continues its run of “Godspell,” which has been extended through Aug. 22.

Phinney Farmers Market from 3-7 p.m. Friday in the upper parking lot of the Phinney Neighborhood Association, 6532 Phinney Ave. N.

Beppa Studios is holding a garage sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 7700 6th Ave. NW (cash only).

Jazz Spontaneous Music Collective at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Couth Buzzard Books, 8310 Greenwood Ave. N.; then Community Sing — Pacific NW Folklore Society concert at 12 p.m. Saturday; Jim Page in concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday; and Kenny Mandell’s Music Improv Session with Randy Doak and Lamar Lofton at 7 p.m. Sunday.

Phinneywood Summer Streets and Soccer Tournament is from 12-5 p.m. Saturday. More than 50 family-friendly activities, plus sidewalk sales, vendors, food, music and a fundraising soccer tournament (that goes until 7 p.m.) More than 3,000 people are expected to stroll Greenwood Avenue from North 70th to 87th streets, plus bikes, strollers, skateboards, and pretty much anything except cars and motorcycles.
