Robert sent us these pictures of a car that lost control while driving on Aurora Avenue North and crashed onto the pedestrian/bike pathway around Green Lake today.
A car came to rest in the pedestrian and bike path on the west side of Green Lake after losing control while going north on Aurora. After hitting a tree and spinning 180* on the embankment it stopped short of the lake and miraculously avoided hitting anyone on the densely used path. The driver was the only one in the vehicle and was seen standing and talking to first responders. His air bag had deployed in the accident.
