Seattle Department of Planning and Development is holding a public meeting to gather comments on the proposed congregate residence development at 714 N. 95th St. The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. this Tuesday, June 2, at Music Center of the Northwest, 901 N. 96th St. Written and/or oral comments may be submitted at the meeting.

The land use application would demolish the current home and allow a three-story structure with 41 small efficiency dwelling units, with no parking.

Neighbors have complained to PhinneyWood and other media outlets that many of the new residents would still have cars and take up the very few remaining on-street parking spots. The project still has to undergo environmental review.
