Beautiful weather for day 2 of the PhinneyWood Artwalk – The Big One

by | May 9, 2015

So many people were out and about the neighborhood Friday night for the first day of the huge 20th annual PhinneyWood Artwalk – The Big One. This is Phinney Ridge and Greenwood’s original artwalk, which later expanded to monthly, but the May event is truly the big one. The Artwalk continues from 12-5 p.m. today (Saturday).

Last night, more than 100 artists were at 70 businesses throughout the neighborhood.

Charming watercolorist Cecile Disenhouse chatted with artwalkers about her local outdoor scenes at Phinney Ridge Cabinet Company at 8003 Greenwood Ave. N.

Here’s Brian White’s detailed, somewhat disturbing and very enthralling, “My Reluctance and Other Shortcomings.”

Stretch & Staple at 8005 Greenwood Ave. N. was crowded with art lovers.

At Avanti: Art & Design at 7601 Greenwood Ave. N., Kristol Jones’ “Dragons” appears to capture the essence of water caressing a rocky creek bed dotted with found objects.
