MJ McDermott-pic-resizedQ13’s Emmy-award winning meteorologist M.J. McDermott will be the grand marshal of this summer’s 65th annual Greenwood Seafair Parade. This year’s theme is “Don’t Rain on My Parade.”

The parade is from 6-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22. It starts at North 95th Street and goes south along Greenwood Avenue North, then turns west on North 85th Street to 6th Avenue NW.

The Greenwood parade is the oldest neighborhood Seafair-sanctioned parade with more than 100 entrants including bands, drill teams, floats, pirates and plenty of school groups. Thousands of people line the route.
