Buy a pint at Ballard Beer Company on Wednesday to support the Greenwood Senior Center

The Ballard Beer Company will donate $1 from every pint purchased on Wednesday to the Greenwood Senior Center. It’s part of their Pints for a Purpose program. Ballard Beer Company is at 2050 NW Market St. On Wednesday it’s open from 4-11 p.m.

The Greenwood Senior Center (GSC), a program of the Phinney Neighborhood Association (PNA), offers programs and services that provide an opportunity for thousands of seniors each year to enhance physical fitness, mental stimulation and emotional well-being and supports active seniors in their efforts to preserve traditions, embrace change and maintain independence. In 2013, the Greenwood Senior Center served over 2,300 seniors, ages 55 – 95, more than 17,000 times, offering daily hot meals, social work services, classes, lectures, visits by health, financial, tax or legal professionals, and numerous club, craft, musical, arts, social and recreational events.
