NW Chamber Chorus presents ‘A Child’s Christmas in Wales’ concert

David Pichette-resizedThe Northwest Chamber Chorus will present “A Child’s Christmas in Wales” concert with guest narrator David Pichette on Dec. 7 and 13 at Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church, 7500 Greenwood Ave. N.

The Sunday, Dec. 7, show begins at 3 p.m. The Saturday, Dec. 13 show begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $22 general; $17 seniors; $12 students and singers. Children ages 6-12 are admitted free with an accompanying adult. Tickets are available online or by calling 206-523-1196.

Enjoy this concert with Mark Kloepper and the Chamber Chorus as they’re joined by guest narrator David Pichette for a reading of Dylan Thomas’ popular story combined with songs of the season and a carol sing-along.

Guest Narrator David Pichette, an actor in the Seattle area for over 30 years, has appeared at all the major theaters in the region. He has also worked numerous seasons with the Alliance Theatre, Kansas City Rep, San Jose Rep, Delaware Theatre Company, Arizona Theatre Company, New Mexico Rep, Portland Center Stage, among others. He recently finished a season with the Utah Shakespeare Festival, appearing in Twelfth Night, Into the Woods, and Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure. In the last few years, he has begun adapting novels to the stage, in partnership with R. Hamilton Wright: Double Indemnity (premiered at ACT Theatre), Hound of the Baskervilles (premiered at Seattle Repertory Theatre), and Picture of Dorian Gray (currently in development with the Seattle Rep).
