Join Seattle Area German American School for ‘Laternenfest’

by | Nov 6, 2014

The Seattle Area German American School just north of Greenwood is inviting neighbors to its family-friendly Laternenfest 2014 from 6:30-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10. The event celebrates St. Martin’s Day with traditional songs and marching with homemade lanterns. SAGA school children made their own lanterns at school; parents and community members are encouraged to bring their own, as well as flashlights or headlamps.

Meet at the Interurban Trail at North 110th Street and Fremont Avenue North (four blocks east of the school).

You can register here to help them plan (but it’s not necessary).
