North Seattle Fives Cooperative School accepting applications for next fall

North Seattle Fives Cooperative School is now accepting applications for the 2014-15 school year. The school is hosting two open houses for prospective students: from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25; and 6-7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 3.
The school is located inside St. John United Lutheran Church, 5515 Phinney Ave. N. (use the back entry).
Students attend school four days a week, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 pm. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. For more information, see the website or call 206-789-1807.

Curriculum: North Seattle Fives is designed to meet the needs of children who are too young for kindergarten or who would benefit from another year before starting kindergarten. The classroom, located across the street from Woodland Park Zoo, is designed to provide a stimulating, hands-on environment for the children. Enrollment: Capped at 20 children, and is limited to children who will turn five years old by Dec. 31, 2014, but occasional exceptions occur.
Deadline for registration is February 14, 2014.
