Redfin names Phinney Ridge as seventh hottest neighborhood in the U.S.

by | Jan 15, 2014

Apparently, everyone wants to live in Phinney Ridge. At least that’s what online real estate brokerage Redfin says, based on its website’s visitors’ pageviews, homes they added as Favorites, and Redfin agents’ analysis of which neighborhoods have seen the biggest growth in popularity among homebuyers.

As Redfin Agent Robin McCue put it, “Phinney Ridge is still known for its great farmer’s market, highly-ranked schools and active neighborhood association. However, Phinney has developed into a hip destination with fantastic restaurants, cool wine bars and cafes, and wonderful clothing and specialty boutiques. The classic homes on Phinney have the character that people desire, and properties on either side of the Ridge can offer wonderful mountain and water views.”

On Redfin, Phinney Ridge properties saw a jump in pageviews of 178 percent from the year before.
Among the five hottest Seattle-area neighborhoods, Phinney Ridge was followed by Madison Valley, Northeast Bellevue, North Rose Hill and West Bellevue.
