Live music, dancing, Dia de los Muertos in Greenwood-Phinney this weekend

Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration from 5:30-9 p.m. Friday at the Phinney Neighborhood Association.

Contra Dance at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the PNA in the Brick Building.

Open House Marketplace and Order Pick-Up event at the new Real Food Buying Club from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at 4818 14th Ave. NW (at Leary Way). Samples from local food artisans, extra bulk food items for sale, and an opportunity to learn more about how food buying clubs work.

Seattle Folklore Society presents Western Swing Concert and Dance featuring The Jangles, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the PNA in the Brick Building. Cost is $15 general, $13 SFS/PNA members and seniors; kids half price. Reserve seats online or call 206-528-8523.

Couth Buzzard Books, 8310 Greenwood Ave. N., presents Jazz First Fridays with New Ronin 4 at 7:30 p.m. Friday; Myles Crawley, Bill Derry, Roo & The Few, Ian Bage at 7:30 p.m. Saturday; and Choro Music Open Jam Hosted by Choro Loco at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Tarana~World Fusion performs at 8 p.m. Saturday at Empty Sea Studios, 6300 Phinney Ave. N. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door.
