Greenwood Library is offering a “Prevention and Care for Diabetes and Heart Disease” seminar at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20, at 8016 Greenwood Ave. N., led by Dr. Calvin Kwan from the Bastyr Center for Natural Health. Free.

Seattle Public Library also offers free drop-in Homework Help at 11 branches throughout Seattle, including the Broadview Branch at 12755 Greenwood Ave. N. Students with a library card also can access free online Homework Help seven days a week.

SPL also offers free online education through Universal Class, which is accessible with a library card. Universal Class includes more than 500 online classes taught by real instructors, on a wide range of topics. You can take a class on your own time, 24 hours a day.
