The City is developing plans to improve bus zones, access, and transit speed and reliability on Greenwood Ave N between N 85th St and N 105th St. Bus service on this corridor includes routes 355, 5x and 5 which carried over 2 million riders (6,500 per day) in 2011. Improvements include the installation of bus bulbs and curbs at bus zones, improved stop spacing, drainage and sidewalk location planning.

Construction of initial bus stop improvements will begin in late 2013 or early 2014.  An open house discussing the two phases for improvement will be held next week at the Greenwood Library Meeting Room Wednesday, August 7 from 5-7 p.m.
