Furnishments expanding into old Turabi Rug space

Furnishments, at 7218 Greenwood Ave. N., has expanded into the next door space formerly occupied by Turabi Rug Gallery, which consolidated with its Pioneer Square location. The addition is called Katrina’s Kitchen.

Furnishments, which sells furniture and provides staging and interior design services, will now have about twice the space. The new space is open but is still being renovated. Owner Katrina Puetz plans to apply for food and beverage permits to also offer a small café.
