The annual Night Out Against Crime is coming up on Aug. 6, and the city is providing matching dollars through its Small Sparks Fund for neighborhood-initiated projects that promote community engagement.

Community groups can request up to $1,000 to help fund Night Out planning and activities such as outreach efforts, educational fairs, youth concert, bike parades, neighborhood cleanups, and entertainment. Registration deadline is July 1 (then full applications are due July 8).
