Live music, auction, kids clothing and gear sale in Greenwood-Phinney this weekend

“Dwelling in Possibility: Fall Forward with Threshold Ensemble — Stories about What’s Coming from the Future” at 8 p.m. Friday at Couth Buzzard Books Espresso Buono Café, 8310 Greenwood Ave. N. Stories are brought to life by improv theater and music ensemble; $15 Donation. Food and drinks available. On Saturday night, singer-songwriter Jim Page performs at 7:30 p.m. Donations accepted.

The mystery “Gaudy Night” continues at Taproot Theatre, 204 N. 85th St.

Phinney Neighborhood Preschool Co-op Fall Kids’ Clothing and Gear Sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Phinney Center’s Brick Building, 6532 Phinney Ave. N.

Neighborhood earthquake preparedness drill from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, at Epic Life Church, 10510 Stone Ave. N. Sponsored by GAIN (Greenwood Aurora Involved Neighbors) North, North Seattle Rotary and Epic Life Church, and SNAP (Seattle Neighborhoods Actively Prepare). Free.

Seattle Folklore Society presents Bill Staines (below) in concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Phinney Neighborhood Center, Brick Building. Local performer Tom Rawson opens. Info and reservations online, or by calling 206-528-8523.

St. Paul’s United Church of Christ auction starting at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church, 75th and Greenwood Avenue North.

Seattle Family Dance at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Phinney Center’s Brick Building, 6532 Phinney Ave. N. Live traditional music for adults and children to dance to. No experience needed. $6 per person, ($5 for PNA members), or $18 per family ($15 PNA members).
