International Walk to School Day is Wednesday

Wednesday is International Walk to School Day. In our neighborhood, West Woodland Elementary and Daniel Bagley Elementary are participating.
Students will be walking or riding their bikes to school that day, many as part of a “walking school bus.” One of the largest groups for West Woodland is from 60th and Sycamore, where the kids walk to and from school every day all year long.
West Woodland walkers and bikers will meet between 8:30-8:45 a.m. Wednesday for bread sticks donated by Great Harvest Bakery, and fresh fruit donated by Ballard Market.
