Sexual assault suspect arrested when Greenwood massage clinic employees chase him down

by | Sep 26, 2012

A sexual assault suspect was arrested Monday night after employees of a Greenwood massage clinic recognized him and chased him down while calling police. And The Seattle Times reports the man also is a suspect in a Bellevue massage clinic rape last month.

From the SPD Blotter:

Massage parlor employees chased down a repeat customer that had previously sexually assaulted an employee. At approximately 9:30 p.m. last night employees from the Carnation Massage Clinic at 602 NW 85th street called to report that a suspect that recently sexually assaulted one of the employees had returned.

During that incident, the suspect displayed an edged weapon to carry out the assault.

When employees tried to detain the suspect for police, he fled on foot, but was caught a short distance later. Several units arrived and took custody of the suspect. Following a positive identification by the victim, the suspect was arrested and transported to the North precinct. He was later booked into King County Jail for 2 counts of Investigation of Rape.

This is an open and active Vice/High Risk Victims Unit investigation.
