Woodland Park Zoo hosting “Hoot for the Hood” neighbor appreciation party

by | Sep 15, 2012

Woodland Park Zoo is inviting neighbors from Fremont to Phinney, and Green Lake to Wallingford, to “HOOT for the HOOD,” a neighbor appreciation party, from 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday.
The event is at the Plaza at the West Entrance (Phinney Avenue North between North 55th and 56th streets).

Chat with your neighbors, meet some new faces and hang out with a penguin or two! The zoo encourages neighbors to bring their friends and family to enjoy animal encounters, face painting and conservation crafts.
Hoot for the Hood is free to neighbors and their guests of Woodland Park Zoo. Evening parking for the event will be free of charge. For more information, visit www.zoo.org/neighbors or call 206.548.2500 or 548.2599 (TTY)
