by | Jun 15, 2012

Seattle Department of Transportation crews have finished repaving Greenwood Avenue North and will paint final lane markings today or tomorrow.
Don’t forget that all eastbound traffic on North 85th Street between Greenwood Avenue North and Aurora Avenue North is being detoured to North 80th Street. Left turns are not allowed from 80th Street onto Aurora.
Looking ahead to next week, SDOT crews will close the intersection of Aurora Avenue North and North 85th Street to rebuild the intersection. Lane closures will begin at 8 p.m. Friday, and all Aurora Avenue lanes will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday (depending on the weather). Work will continue 24 hours a day. One westbound lane on North 85th Street through the intersection will be open. Local access to residences and businesses will be provided.
