Eastbound NW 85th Street reopens between 15th and 8th Avenues NW

Seattle Department of Transportation ended the eastbound detour on NW 85th Street between 15th and 8th Avenues NW this morning.

The eastbound detour is now in place between 8th and Greenwood Avenues NW. Traffic is detoured to NW 80th Street. One westbound lane is open to traffic.
SDOT crews will grind N/NW 85th Street between 3rd Avenue NW and Greenwood Avenue North on Thursday, in preparation for paving next week.
“Businesses, residents and commuters should expect noise, dust, vibration and temporary traffic impacts during this work (8 a.m. to 3 p.m.),” according to SDOT. “Uniformed Police Officers will be on-site to assist traffic.”
