The Greenwood Senior Center is hosting a discussion on homelessness and mental illness at 11 a.m. Thursday. The discussion will be led by Christine Lindquist, E.D., of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
According to Lindquist, many people living on the streets of Seattle have mental illness or substance abuse issues, and that mental illness affects the lives of at least one in four adults.
The Greenwood Senior Center is at 525 N. 85th St. For more information on Thursday’s discussion, call 206-297-0875.
