Christ the King Catholic School, at 415 N. 117th St., is hosting a Preschool Information Night for parents of registered and prospective students, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 17.
CKS has three different preschool programs: an all-day, year-round preschool; a half-day class for 4-year-olds; and a half-day class for 3-year-olds. The 4-year-olds class meets from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The 3-year-old class meets from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Our preschool program follows the guidelines of the National Association for the Education of Young Children and focuses on children becoming independent, self-confident, curious learners who can work well with others. Preschool students participate in activities which develop the foundation for language, math, science, spirituality, social studies, creative arts, music, movement and dramatic play. Our talented and caring teachers provide a warm and supportive environment where children can explore, experiment, create and learn through a wide variety of hands-on experiences.
