Leukemia & Lymphoma fundraiser at Sweet Lou’s on March 22

by | Mar 15, 2012

A couple of “Team in Training” folks are hosting a fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at Sweet Lou’s pub on Thursday, March 22. The theme is “Joy of Painting” (remember that old Bob Ross show on PBS?)
The event features a Bob Ross painting competition, Kill the Keg for Cancer, and several raffles. Bluegrass band Pickled Okra will perform live.

So far they’ve got raffle prizes from: Teatro Zinzanni, Stiches, Hillard’s, Honey Hole, Babeland, Second Ascent and 418 Public House, and a bunch more. The fundraiser starts at 7 p.m. at Sweet Lou’s, 820 NW 85th St.
If you can’t make the event, but would still like to donate, you can check out the organizers’ fundraising pages here and here.
