The Seattle Public Library is hosting a city-wide reading marathon for middle school students at six library branches, including the Greenwood Library, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Jan. 28.
The marathon is also at the libraries in Ballard, Beacon Hill, Douglass-Truth, Lake City and Southwest.
The middle school with the most reading hours logged will win an exciting grand prize. All Seattle middle school students are encouraged to participate. Everyone is welcome to attend and support the readers. No registration is required. Pizza and snacks will be provided for the students. Free parking is available at the branches.
