KapKa, a private cooperative K-5 school in Phinney Ridge, is hosting an open house for prospective families on Jan. 28
From KapKa:

This is the time of year when many neighborhood families will be exploring elementary schools, hoping to find just the right fit for their child. For more than 20 years, KapKa, a cooperative K-5 school, has offered a progressive elementary education in our neighborhood.
“At KapKa, we believe in educating the whole child; taking care to support each child’s academic, social and emotional growth. KapKa provides an experience-centered, integrated curriculum. With strong involvement and support of our parents, passionate teachers and staff, our students are challenged to develop the academic and social skills necessary to be inquisitive, thoughtful, caring and contributing members of our community,” said Kathi Bulfin, Head of School.
This fall, KapKa moved three blocks from its eleven-year home at the “Little Red Schoolhouse” on Linden Avenue to its current location within the Emmanuel Bible Church complex near Woodland Park. Doubling their previous square footage, the school now has more classroom space, a larger library, larger mixed-use space for music and art, an outdoor play yard as well as a full-size indoor gym.
KapKa invites neighborhood families to learn more about the school at its January Open House on Saturday, January 28 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Come meet KapKa’s teaching team and staff and tour its facility (Parents only please—your child will have an opportunity to visit KapKa at a later time).
