by | Dec 23, 2011

It’s a very quiet weekend around the neighborhood. We’ve only got a handful of events in the calendar. Please put a note in comments below of any other events.
Couth Buzzard Books Espresso Buono Cafe, 8310 Greenwood Ave. N., is hosting Jim Page in concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday; and a Christmas Eve Folk Music Sing-Along from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, led by hosts Carl Allen and Jim Portillo.
Santoro’s Books, 7405 Greenwood Ave. N., presents a special holiday storytelling with Steph at 11 a.m. Saturday. “Featuring the Screaming Latke, Bad Kitty, Fancy Nancy, the Grinch, warm cider and cookies – we’ll be overflowing with merriment! We’ll be open from 10:00 to 8:00 today (Friday) and from 10:00 to 5:00 on Christmas Eve. Let us help find the perfect book for everyone on your list – we’ll even gift wrap for free.”
Taproot Theatre is showing “Beasley’s Christmas Party” at 8 p.m. Friday. The show runs through Dec. 30.
