Neighborhood business trick-or-treat is Saturday, Holman Road trick-or-treating is Sunday

You have two opportunities to get your little munchkins all sugared up before Halloween this weekend.
First up, from 12-3 p.m. on Saturday, the Greenwood-Phinney Chamber of Commerce is once again sponsoring the Safe Trick-or-Treat at businesses all along Greenwood-Phinney avenues. Just look for the orange sign in the window (although most will have staff members handing out candy outside the business). Children must be in costume and accompanied by an adult.

Greenwood Avenue sidewalks will be crowded with superheroes and princesses on Saturday afternoon.
And from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, it’s the second annual Halloween on Holman at businesses in Carkeek Plaza and Holman Plaza. Children must be in costume and accompanied by an adult.

Trick-or-treaters will pick up a card showing all participating merchants at the tent in front of Elements Therapeutic Massage and Karin’s Beauty Supplies. Each merchant will hand out wrapped candy for the kids and offer a coupon or special for adults, along with a sticker for the card. Sticker-filled cards can be turned in to enter a grand prize drawing. The grand prize will be a night for two at the Hyatt Place Downtown along with 2 Space Needle tickets and monorail tickets to and from downtown. Other prizes will include gift cards and items donated from the stores in both shopping centers.

Check out the Halloween on Holman event’s Facebook page for more information.
