‘Please stop! It’s gross! It smells! Clean dog poop!’

It’s an ongoing issue that regularly pops up in the MyBallard forum (here, here and here) – dog owners who don’t scoop up after their dog.

Monday morning while out walking our dog Elsie (with plastic bag, I might add) I came across these signs that show obvious frustration by the homeowners.

Two signs with notes front and back are staked into the planting strip along 8th Ave NW near NW 75th Street.

One note that starts with “Please stop! It’s gross! It smells! Clean dog poop!” continues on with, “Here’s the thing: We bet you and your dog are nice, wonderful, caring members of the community. So why do you keep crapping on our lawn? (please stop it!)”
