Violet Soul boutique staying open an extra week

by | Sep 21, 2011

Violet Soul clothing boutique, at 7102 Greenwood Ave. N., which was scheduled to close yesterday, will remain open until next Wednesday, Sept. 28.

Owner Deborah Stone says final markdowns will happen on Thursday, plus she’s having a “yard sale” of décor and furniture, and girls and women’s gently used clothing, on the store’s patio on Saturday and Sunday.
Most of the store’s fixtures are for sale, including rolling racks, rounders, bamboo shelves, mirrors, tables and a mid-century solid teak burl bar that she used as the cash register desk.
Clothing, belts, scarves, and jewelry are marked down 50 to 80 percent. Violet Soul also has some men’s shirts and jackets for sale.
Credit cards are still being accepted, but cash is preferred (Ken’s Market has a cash machine just a block away).
Violet Soul is now open from 2-7 p.m. Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 2-5 p.m. on Sunday.
