Burglars break into Phinney Ridge home through small window

by | Sep 1, 2011

Neighbors report that a house on NW 78th Street near 1st Avenue NW was burglarized sometime Wednesday. The homeowners think it happened between 8-11 a.m.

They busted out a screen after climbing onto a yard object. The window was small and yet they got in. They took TV, computer, and rummaged through drawers, looking for other valuables. We wanted everyone to know in hopes of preventing a repeat break-in.

The neighbors who sent us the info tell us that another neighbor was recently broken into, and in that case, a burglar had used a trash can to reach a window to break into.
