Greenwood Car Show rumbles into the ‘hood June 25

by | Jun 2, 2011

Hundreds of hot rods and roadsters will fill Greenwood Avenue for the 19th annual Greenwood Car Show on Saturday, June 25. Greenwood Avenue North will be closed between North 68th and North 90th streets.

The Greenwood Car Show is produced by the Greenwood Knights car club and is a Seafair sanctioned community event. It’s also a fundraiser for Greenwood Food Bank. A portion of the car entry fees are donated to the food bank, and all attendees are encouraged to bring canned food donations.
Stroll the mile-and-a-half long stretch and see 700 cars from all eras, plus vintage hydroplanes. There’s also music, food, a kids zone, vintage fire engines, and various vendors.

Last year’s Kids Zone.
Vehicle pre-registration is $25 for cars or trucks, $15 for motorcycles. Day-of registration is an additional $5, but the event may be full by that day, so pre-registration is encouraged.
Information on volunteering for the event can be found here.
