Art, music, bubbles and more at annual May artwalk

The big annual Greenwood-Phinney Artwalk kicked off Friday night with a ton of art, live music and other entertainment as hundreds of people strolled Greenwood and Phinney avenues. The artwalk continues from 12-5 p.m. Saturday.
The Bubbleman entertained the kids outside of Metropolis at Greenwood and 74th.

The Greenwood Library put out a huge bucket of chalk so people’s imaginations could run wild.

Lisa Geertsen of Firelight Forge makes a marshmallow holder in the front yard of The Yard Cafe at 8313 Greenwood Ave. N., which is set to open next Thursday.

The Little Cupcake Gallery was inside a small bus parked outside The Greenwood Collective at Greenwood and 86th.

And a young entrepreneur sold potholders made from old socks she buys by the pound at Goodwill (we bought two).
