No one injured when ladder flies through Metro bus window in Greenwood

A Route 48 bus was traveling west on NW 85th Street Tuesday morning at 6th Avenue NW about 9:50 a.m. when a ladder flew off a passing truck and went partway through the windshield.

Metro Spokeswoman Linka Thielke tells us the ladder apparently flew off the truck when it changed lanes as it passed the bus on the left. Thielke said the bus driver was shaken up but not injured. Passengers caught the following bus.
