Phinney-Greenwood one of Seattle Magazine’s top 11 neighborhoods

by | Feb 25, 2011

Our neighborhood got a nice shout out from Seattle Magazine in its most recent issue. In “Sweet Streets: Seattle’s 11 Best Neighborhoods,” writer Shannon O’Leary gives props to each of the 11 ‘hoods for “livability, accessibility, walkability.”
For Greenwood Avenue North, O’Leary specifically mentioned 24 neighborhood businesses, including A Muse Art Stamps, Herkimer Coffee, The Chocolate Shoe Box, Cowboys and Angels Salon, Ed’s Kort Haus, Francine Seders Gallery, Prost! Tavern, and Greenwood TrueValue Hardware.
And by the way, the magazine referred to the neighborhood as “PhinneyWood.”
