Weekend events

Everyone’s gearing up for the holidays, with craft fairs, sales and concerts. Here’s a sample of what’s happening in our neck of the woods this weekend.
Beppa Studio at 7700 6th Ave. NW hosts its Holiday Gift and Clothing Sale from 4-8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Jazz First Fridays with Kenny Mandell and Don Berman is at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Couth Buzzard Books Espresso Buono Café, 8310 Greenwood Ave. N. And “Threshold Theater: Giving Spontaneous Life to Your Stories” is at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Neptune Coffee, 8415 Greenwood Ave. N., hosts Star Wars Trivia at 8 p.m. Friday.
The Phinney Neighborhood Association’s 30th annual Winter Festival and Crafts Fair is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Do your Christmas shopping from the 120 juried crafts booths. There’s a bake sale, quilt raffle, live entertainment, and lunch for sale. Admission is $2 for PNA members, $4 for the general public, plus a can of food for the Greenwood Food Bank. Children 12 and under are admitted free.
Santoro’s Books at 7405 Greenwood Ave. N. is hosting its sixth annual Holiday Party from 5-8 p.m. Saturday. They’ll have food, wine and give you $5 off every purchase over $25.
Katrina Kope and trio will perform neo Jazz at The Olive and Grape, 8516 Greenwood Ave. N. from 7-10 p.m. Saturday. Late happy hour menu starts at 9 p.m.
Sakya Monastery of Tibetan Buddhism is having a holiday sale from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, at 108 NW 83rd St.
Empty Sea Studios at 6300 Phinney Ave. N. presents Brazilian music ensemble Zumbido in concert at 8 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $12 in advance, $16 at the door.
Soulumination hosts its fifth annual Artists’ Holiday Sale from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 12-5 p.m. Sunday at 5201 11th Ave. NW. More than two dozen artists will donate 25 percent of their sales to Soulumination, which provides free photography to children and parents facing terminal illness.
