Update 1:40 p.m.: Here’s the latest from the Seattle Police Department Blotter:

Vehicle/Pedestrian collision with injuries
On September 22nd at approximately 12:15 p.m. officers responded to a 911 call of a vehicle/pedestrian collision in the 6700 block of northbound Aurora Avenue North. An adult male pedestrian was crossing Aurora Avenue North from west to east and was struck by a northbound van in the inside lane. He was subsequently struck a second time by another northbound truck in the center lane.
The pedestrian was transported by SFD medics to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Neither one of the involved drivers were injured.
Traffic Collision Investigation Squad detectives are on scene actively investigating.
All three northbound lanes of Aurora Avenue North are completely shut down at the 5900 block with traffic being diverted eastbound onto Greenlake Way. We estimate this closure will last several hours.
