Sign up for Greenwood Seafair Parade by Thursday

by | Jun 28, 2010

Thursday is the deadline to sign up to be in the Greenwood Seafair Parade on July 28. The 60th annual parade brings many thousands of people to downtown Greenwood. The parade is from 6-9 p.m. It starts at Greenwood Avenue North and North 95th Street and goes south on Greenwood, then west on North 85th Street to 6th Avenue NW.

Here’s the All City Marching Band at last year’s parade.
The theme of this year’s parade is “Greenwood’s Got Talent,” and features Grand Marshalls The Coats, who starting singing on Seattle street corners and are now internationally known.
Download an application, and send it in by Wednesday so it’s received by Thursday. (Disclosure: PhinneyWood is a sponsor of the Greenwood Seafair Parade.)
And another disclosure, because we’re a sponsor, we have a spot in the parade, but we have absolutely no idea what we would do in the parade. People gave us some ideas in an earlier post, but we’re still really not sure what we’ll do. Share ideas in comments – we’re on a deadline too!
